Colac Country Music Festival was started 15 years ago by Ken Garrett in conjunction with the local Kana Festival to promote country music in the Colac district. It is now run by the Colac Comeback Country Music Club Inc., and is held on the third Sunday of February annually at the Colac Show Grounds, Murray Street, East Colac.
The show has grown to include lots of trucks and utes, and there are stalls, static displays, children's rides and good country music. Bring along your chair and be early to get some shade from our open marquees available for your comfort. There are food stalls, hot and cold drinks and it is BYO but no glass please. Come along and have a great day out.
This year's Festival is scheduled for 15 February, 10 a.m. to 5.30 p.m.
Admission charges are $15 for adults, $5 for children up to 15 years of age and $30 for a family of up to four.
